Tobias Winkler, born on 30 May 1983, is Member of the Executive Board of Delvag Versicherungs-AG and Member of the management of Albatros Versicherungsdienste GmbH since 1 May 2023.

Tobias Winkler started his career in 2003 as an expert in life/pension insurance and company pension schemes at Standard Life Assurance Company. In 2005, he joined Albatros Versicherungsdienste, where he was initially employed as an expert in occupational pension schemes (bAV) and took over the management of the division as Head of Pensions in 2007. 

In 2012, he was appointed Senior Director Employee Benefits at Albatros. In this position, Tobias Winkler led a team of more than 20 employees and was responsible for the Lufthansa Group's personal insurance worldwide. 

In 2019, he successfully led a Group-wide project to optimise insurance risk management in the Lufthansa Group. The project won the European Captive Award 2021 in the category "Captive Collaboration Project.    

Since July 2020, as Senior Director & Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), he has been responsible for the insurance and reinsurance division of Delvag, which he has strategically positioned and expanded by applying modern management methods and digital tools. 

Tobias Winkler was appointed General Representative for Delvag Versicherungs-AG on 01 January 2023 and was appointed Member of the Executive Board with effect from 01 May 2023.

Tobias Winkler is married and father of three children.
